NAVER D2SF's Privacy Policy

NAVER Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) complies with privacy regulations under the Personal Information Protection Act and the Information and Communications Network Act, and is committed to protecting the rights and interests of users by setting up a privacy policy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
This Privacy Policy applies to the NAVER D2SF's services provided by the Company and has the following details.

  • 2. Provision of personal information to third parties and Entrustment of its processing

      NAVER D2SF shall not provide personal information to third parties.
      In case of providing personal information to third parties, NAVER D2SF shall notify users in advance of 'the recipient of the information, the purpose of its usage, the items to be provided, and retention and usage duration', and obtain explicit and individualized consent from users.

      To enhance its services, the Company outsources personal information processing as described below, and stipulates the necessary details to ensure that personal information is safely managed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

    • C. Transfer of personal information overseas

      To send out its newsletters, the Company uses Mailchimp, a newsletter sending platform, and stores personal information overseas as follows:
      If users do not subscribe to the Company's newsletters, no transfer of personal information will occur. In case of refusing the transfer, they are not allowed to access the newsletter services. If users do not want their information transferred, they can opt out of personal information transfers by not using the service.

  • 3. Processes and methods for destroying personal information

    When personal information becomes unnecessary because its retention period has expired or the purpose of information processing has been achieved, the Company shall destroy this information without delay in a method that the information cannot be reproduced.

      • In accordance with its internal policy, the Company shall destroy personal information without delay after its retention period has expired.
      • Information that is obligated to be preserved by law shall be kept securely during its retention period, and then destroyed after expiration of the period.

      • Personal information recorded and stored in the form of electronic files shall be destroyed by a technical method that makes it impossible for the information to be reproduced.
      • Personal information printed on paper shall be destroyed by shredding or incineration.
  • 4. Rights of Users & Legal Representatives and Exercising Those Rights

    Users may view or request correction of their registered personal information at any time, and withdraw their consent if they do not agree to the Company's processing of their personal information. In such cases, however, they may not be able to use some or all of the services.
    NAVER D2SF's services do not process personal information of children under the age of 14.

    The company uses “cookies” to store and retrieve usage information when necessary.
