We started with the belief that NAVER and startups can take on more challenges and achieve greater growth by working together. We focus on early-stage startups to help them grow and create synergies with NAVER.

We mainly invest in the early stages of startups, from Seed to Series A, and 62% of startups received their first institutional investment from NAVER D2SF.  We focus our investments on technology fields such as AI, robotics, autonomous driving, healthcare, AR, and VR.

투자 유치부터 M&A까지 탄탄하게 성장 중
2016년부터 지금까지 AI, 로보틱스, 자율주행, 헬스케어 등의 분야에서 52팀이 캠퍼스 기술창업 공모전을 거쳐갔습니다. 이 중 26팀은 인큐베이팅 이후 법인 설립 및 투자 유치에 성공해 성장 중이며, 특히 무빈, 비닷두, 포자랩스, 비닷두, 모빌테크, 제제듀, 플라스크, 펫페오톡은 공모전을 거쳐 네이버 D2SF로부터 투자를 유치했습니다.

NAVER D2SF 캠퍼스 기술창업 공모전은 매학기 초 공개모집을 시작해 학기말 최종 선정팀을 발표하고, 이후 6개월간 맞춤형 성장 프로그램을 지원합니다.

[지원 자격]
해결하고자 하는 문제, 실천 가능한 문제 해결 계획을 갖고 있는 대학(원)생 창업팀이라면 누구나 신청할 수 있습니다.
법인 설립 여부에 관계 없이, 졸업 후 1년 이내까지 신청할 수 있습니다.

[심사 기준]
▲해결하려는 문제의 가치, ▲문제 해결방식의 창의성 및 적합성, ▲기술 역량 및 잠재력, ▲실현 가능성 및 실행력 중심으로 검토합니다.

Q: 원천기술을 보유한 스타트업만 지원 가능한가요?
A: 아닙니다. 이용자 가치를 실현하기 위해서는 탄탄한 기술력뿐 아니라, 데이터, 서비스 기획 및 운영 등도 모두 중요합니다. 네이버 D2SF는 원천기술뿐 아니라, 적정 기술로 빠르게 제품화에 성공한 스타트업, 기술 고도화에 필요한 데이터를 수집 및 가공하는 스타트업, 데이터를 활용해 의미 있는 서비스를 만들고 있는 스타트업 모두를 관심있게 보고 있습니다

Q: 검토 기준은 무엇인가요?
A: ▲보유한(혹은 보유하려는) 기술로 해결하려는 문제의 명확성, ▲해당 문제를 해결했을 때 고객에게 줄 수 있는 가치, ▲문제를 해결할 수 있는 멤버 구성 또는 실현 가능한 팀 구성 계획, ▲기술 역량 및 잠재력 등을 중요하게 보고 있습니다. 
A: 최고의 기술이 최고의 제품을 만드는 것은 아니기 때문에 기술의 난이도보다, 진출하려는 시장에서 기술로 진입장벽을 만들 수 있는지 중요하게 봅니다. 적정 수준의 기술로 고객에게 어떤 가치를 줄 수 있는지, 시장의 문제를 얼마나 잘 해결할 수 있는지, 어떤 Use-Case를 만들 계획인지가 우선입니다.

Q: 팀원 전원이 대학(원) 재학 중이어야 하나요?
A: 팀 핵심 멤버에 대학(원)생이 포함돼 있으면 지원할 수 있으며, 재학/휴학 여부는 무관합니다. 졸업 후 1년 이내도 지원 가능합니다.

Q: 법인을 설립한 팀만 지원 가능한가요?
A: 법인 설립 여부에 관계 없이 지원 가능합니다.

Q: 아이디어 단계에서도 지원 가능한가요?
A: 인큐베이팅 기간 동안 보유한 아이디어를 실현하기 위한 구체적인 계획이나 역량을 보유한 멤버 등이 구성된 경우라면 아이디어 단계에서도 지원 가능합니다.

Q: 정부 혹은 교내 지원 프로그램, 다른 투자사 액셀러레이팅 프로그램과 중복 신청 가능한가요?
A: 정부 및 학교에서 주최하는 지원사업 참여 여부, 투자 유치 여부와 무관하게 지원 가능합니다.

Q: 서류 접수 마감은 언제까지인가요?
A: 11월 3일(금) 밤 12시까지 접수 가능합니다.

Q: 미팅은 어떻게 진행되나요?
A: 공개 발표나 투자 심사 발표가 아닌, 캐주얼한 개별 미팅 형식입니다. 공개 가능한 범위에서 기술 및 제품 특징, 사업계획, 팀 구성 등 전반적인 소개와 질의응답을 이어가며, 상황에 따라 온/오프라인으로 진행합니다.

Q: 공모전에 선정되면 창업팀이 보유한 아이디어/기술이 네이버 쪽으로 귀속되나요?
A: 공모전에 선정되더라도 보유한(혹은 보유하려는) 기술의 권리는 창업팀에 귀속됩니다.

Q: 입주 공간을 제공받는 경우 필수로 상주해야 하나요?
A: 입주는 선택사항이며, 최장 6개월간 무상으로 입주 공간을 제공합니다. 이 경우, 오피스 상주를 원칙으로 하고 있습니다.

Many university students aspire to start their own businesses, but the path to entrepreneurship is not easy. Will the product we develop provide real value to users? Where are our market and customers? How can we establish a sustainable revenue model? Starting a business is a continuous process of testing hypotheses and solving problems. To support student startup teams in minimizing trial and error and fostering solid growth, we present the NAVER D2SF Campus Tech Startup Competition, which has been held every semester since 2016.

Growth from Investment to M&A
Since 2016, 52 teams specializing in AI, robotics, autonomous driving, healthcare, and more have participated in the Campus Tech Startup Competition. Of these, 26 teams successfully established corporations and secured funding after incubation. Notably, startups like Moovin, V.DO, Pozalabs, MobiliTech, Zziddu, Flask, and Petpeotalk secured investment from NAVER D2SF through this competition.

6-Month Incubation 
The NAVER D2SF Campus Tech Startup Competition begins open recruitment at the start of each semester. After final teams are selected by the end of the semester, they enter a 6-month tailored growth program.

[Eligibility]
Any undergraduate or graduate student startup team with a problem to solve and a feasible solution plan is eligible to apply. Applications are open to all, regardless of whether a company has been established, and up to one year post-graduation.

Q: Is the competition only for startups with core technologies?
A: No, it’s not limited to startups with core technologies. In addition to solid technological expertise, user value realization also depends on data, service planning, and operations. NAVER D2SF is interested not only in core technology startups but also in those that have quickly commercialized products with appropriate technology, startups that collect and process data necessary for technology advancement, and those creating meaningful services using data.

Q: What are the evaluation criteria?
A: We focus on the following criteria:
▲The clarity of the problem your (or your future) technology aims to solve, ▲The value you can provide to customers once the problem is solved, ▲Your team’s ability to execute the solution or a feasible team-building plan, ▲Your technical expertise and potential
A: It’s important to note that the best technology doesn’t always create the best product. We prioritize whether your technology can create a competitive barrier in the target market rather than its complexity. What value can you deliver to customers with the right level of technology, how well can you solve the market's problem, and what use cases you plan to create are key considerations.

Q: Do all team members need to be enrolled university students?
A: As long as the core team members include university students, you are eligible to apply. Enrollment or leave of absence status does not matter, and applications are open up to one year post-graduation.

Q: Can only teams that have established a corporation apply?
A: No, applications are open regardless of whether your team has established a corporation.

Q: Can teams in the idea stage apply?
A: Yes, as long as you have a concrete plan or the necessary team members to realize your idea during the incubation period, teams in the idea stage are welcome to apply.

Q: Can we apply to government, school support programs, or other accelerator programs at the same time?
A: Yes, you can apply regardless of your participation in government or school support programs, or whether you have secured funding from other investors.

Q: What is the application deadline?
A: The deadline for application submission is midnight on Friday, November 3.

Q: How will meetings be conducted?
A: The meetings will be casual, individual meetings, not public presentations or investment evaluations. Depending on the situation, meetings may be held online or offline, and will include an overall introduction to your technology, product features, business plan, and team composition, followed by a Q&A session.

Q: If selected, will our startup’s ideas or technology be transferred to NAVER?
A: No, even if selected, the rights to your (or your future) technology remain with your startup.

Q: If we are provided with office space, do we have to work there full-time?
A: Office space is optional, but if chosen, it is provided free of charge for up to six months. In this case, the principle is to work on-site during that period.
